HAPPY VALENTINE”S DAY!!! This is one of my ancestor’s 100+ vintage postcards that we call her “courting cards.” Some will be featured throughout the year. Check out her sweet card at my Sizzler Blog: http://southernsizzleromance.wordpress.com/ Rita Bay
It’s so cool that you have all those cards. This one is so corny and I love the look on her face. 🙂
Totally cool, oh early rising one. They are probably my favorite of the “trash and treasures” of which I am the caretaker. No Warehouse 13 moments yet. Rita Bay
Oh, Rita! This one is wonderful! And rather risque in the fact a woman is behind the wheel. lol Guess it proves men always liked women with their cars . . . except today they wear almost nothing at the car shows. LOL
So glad your family kept these, and that you take the time to share them with us! Happy Valentine’s Day!
Wonderful source for turn of the century research. Look at the clothing. (grinning) Okay, I’m into research.
And socioeconomic commentary. During this period, only the VERY wealthy could go “motoring.” Automobile ownership was limited at the time. Don’t know about antique autos but you would certainly catch a mouthful of bugs without a windshield. Rita Bay
